In order to make a strong case why our blockchain is necessary, we really needed to come up with a solution that was not just an imitation of something which had already existed, or a modified clone of another technology, but something unique we built from zero, from the bottom up.

For this reason, we had to come up with a new consensus mechanic that was keeping the decentralized system not founded for the sake of its financial value, but simply for the love of the system itself. This is why the proof of participation, the evidence of someone’s significant participation in the decentralized system becomes important. On top of the PoP we have also built new types of functionalities. It has been a lot of work but it’s been a success, we’ve deployed it, it’s online and live now.
